Position is very important when it comes to Texas Hold'em.

If you are in Early Position you act before everybody else. This means that you need a very good starting hand if you are going to play your hand not not just fold. A A-Ten hand is considered a bad hand when having the early position just to give you a little heads up about what is a good starting hand.

If you are in Middle Position you can play more hands and a good rule is that if your hand is good enough to raise you should raise and if it's not good enough you should fold.

Late position

This is were you want to be! Here you see what everybody else does before you have to act. You play far more hands than you do when your in any of the positions. Here you can play aggressive and you can bring out a big can of bluffing.
